A global investment and advisory firm are looking to expand their operations by hiring for a Head of SRI Research. The scope of the role will be to source, analyse and monitor (potential as well as existing) investment opportunities for Discretionary and Advisory accounts through an SRI lens.

The successful candidate will assist in the development of new ESG/SRI investment products and business lines and in prospecting for new ESG/SRI-sensitive clients. Work with the investment office and executive office to embed ESG/SRI analysis in the investment process and create internal policies that acknowledge the company’s sensitivity to ESG across both investment and non-investment related activities. Assist PMs and RMs to construct ESG/SRI sensitive portfolios for clients.
Duties (not limited to):
- ESG integration: lead in developing the company’s SRI strategy, policies, and product offering, and on ESG integration across the firm; ensure that SRI & CSR initiatives are scoped, undertaken, and kept up to date in full alignment with the corporate ethos agreed with the EO team.
- SRI Research: write research notes to present to the IO on SRI trends and investment themes; work closely with the Research Team on the due diligence and monitoring of managers and products from an ESG perspective.
- SRI Investment Offering: develop ESG/SRI methodologies which can be used to launch SRI opportunities across the company’s offering (including the creation of a multi-asset segregated portfolio service, certificates, and funds).
- Business Development: work with the front office team to create pitches for prospective SRI clients and attend calls and meetings with clients and prospective client meetings to explain our SRI/ESG policies and capabilities.
The Successful Candidate… will need to have a broad understanding of how ESG affects SRI & CSR as well as emergent trends therein; deriving knowledge of developments (particularly in the UHNW space) from active, on-going involvement/engagement with organisations at the forefront of these matters.
