Our client is a dynamic and innovative FCA regulated Multi Family Investment Office. They offer investment and portfolio management services to a small number of ultra-high net worth clients and with expansion, are looking to grow the investment team.
This is purely an investment office, providing no other services but creating bespoke portfolios for their UHNW clients, sourcing their own research, enabling them to directly address their individual client needs.
They follow a thematic strategy, generally investing in chosen Managers, direct equities but also some ETFs and Fixed Income.

Responsibilities :
- The Investment Analyst will be responsible for conducting fundamental research on global sectors, industries, and stocks to originate, propose, and execute new investment ideas (both longs and shorts) via single stock, ETF, or index positions as well as investments in other asset classes, including investments in investment managers.
- The individual will work directly with the CIO as well as other members of the investment and operations team and will also be responsible for assisting with portfolio strategy, portfolio construction, risk management, and portfolio monitoring processes.
- In addition, the position will help with building and improving the quantitative processes around trade order execution and allocation, macroeconomic and market technical signal generation, single stock and factor risk analysis, and performance attribution and reporting.
- The individual is also expected to assist with other investment and operational needs as required.
Key Experience & Competences:
An investment analyst with single stock equity research experience, a good understanding of the workings of financial markets as well as the ability to grow to take on other investment responsibilities.
- 3 years of equity research experience
- Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high quality work
- Flexible, extremely diligent, self-motivated, tenacious, ability to get things done
- Proactive in looking ahead to what needs to be done, in addressing current issues, and in assisting other members of the team
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Intellectual curiosity and passion about investing, companies and markets
- Strong English language skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Bloomberg
- Excel and MS Office proficiency (Pivot tables, VBA)
The successful candidate will have a broad range of experience including Analysis, Trading and Asset Allocation but will be experienced enough to have gained a strategic understanding of investing across a broad range of assets.
Remuneration will be commensurate with the duties and demands of the role and will be in the region of up to £60,000 plus discretionary bonus.
