A well established Single Family Office is looking for a highly qualified, senior finance professional to support the existing finance team and help manage and guide the activities of the business. This office invests across various assets including equity, fixed income, real estate and alternatives (PE, hedge funds and VC). The role requires someone with fund accounting experience, specifically private equity and hedge funds.
The successful candidate will oversee the middle office, accounting and client reporting for Trust/Company accounting function. The office is FCA regulated and therefore this person will also be responsible for making sure the office is in compliance with regulations. You should be detail-oriented and adaptable with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills to fit into the closely-knit team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all monthly/quarterly/yearly performance and activity reporting and ensuring day-to-day financial operations are running smoothly
- Oversight and management of the third-party relationships, banking, custody, Infrastructure/IT and administration
- Filing periodic reports to the FCA and making sure internal processes are being followed correctly
- Fund accounting experience (private equity and hedge fund)
- Improving firm’s systems, processes, governance and controls
Salary: circa £115,000 plus discretionary bonus and benefits.
