A rare opportunity has arisen for a small and growing organisation that specialises in wealth structuring for corporate institutions and UHNW individuals to protect and grow their investments.

The MLRO/MLCO is a critical role for the organisation which must ensure that internal compliance practices and controls of the organisation remains adequate for the purposes of managing the exposure to money laundering risks arising from the business it conducts.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Assist the Compliance Officer in preparing for and managing inspections by the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC)
  • Researching and understanding changes in laws and regulation
  • Developing internal policies relating to Anti Money Laundering within the organisation and overseeing their implementation
  • Developing Anti Money Laundering guidance materials, controls, training resources and contributing to the Policy & Procedures Manual
  • Advising senior management on the implications and scope of internal policies and related plans
  • Setting the annual Anti Money Laundering plan, undertaking risk monitoring and quality assurance to demonstrate adherence
  • Conducting due diligence reviews, reporting on the outcome of Anti Money Laundering risk assessments and ensuring that remedial action is taken
