An international Multi Family Office is looking for a dynamic and driven Accountant to join their small and close-knit team. This office manages and oversees investment and assets of UHNWI clients who are international with sophisticated investments across a broad range of asset classes.

As a member of a small team, strong interpersonal skills are essential as well as experience working with high net worth individuals in a fast paced and deadline driven environment. They are looking for someone who is intellectually curious, can multitask and solve problems.

You will be required to liaise with external advisors and clients and be able to communicate confidently. You should be comfortable working across a broad range of tasks and have experience working across a wide range of jurisdictions globally.

Required Skills:

  • Finance Degree
  • Qualified Accountant with a strong commercial understanding and bias
  • Experience in wealth management, Family Office or private equity background
  • Good understanding of multiple investment types, public, private, private equity funds, venture capital etc.
  • Good understanding of KYC/AML/CRS/FATCA reporting requirements
  • High level of communication in English
  • Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for month-end and year-end close of financial statements, account reconciliations, general ledger analysis, and annual audits.
  • Reviewing investment documentation and overseeing the execution process
  • Transactional accounting across investment entities (different companies, SPVs)
  • Investment valuations and reconciliations
  • Able to prepare P&L and Balance sheet, Consolidating reporting for a group of accounts for a HNWI/UHNWI
  • Experience of Offshore holding companies, overseas regulations
  • Preparation of investment reports, performance analysis, benchmarking
  • Monthly Reporting – Management and Cashflow
  • Preparation of monthly payroll
  • Prepare and maintain budgets on each asset
  • Handling of personal and company tax matters including implementation of advice in various international jurisdictions – alongside external advisors
  • Any ad hoc tasks including new company formation, liaison with legal department and banking counterparts
  • Bank account and cash management
