The operation role plays a key leadership role within a high performing executive team, responsible for delivering exceptional service and driving operational excellence across the organization. This individual will provide strategic and hands-on leadership, ensuring alignment with the principal’s goals and overall business priorities. 

Key Responsibilities 

Leadership & Strategy 

  • Lead and manage a professional, high-functioning team. 
  • Provide continuous performance feedback, mentorship, and development opportunities. 
  • Foster a culture of open communication, accountability, and collaboration. 
  • Contribute to both short and long term strategic and operational planning, helping to shape and implement business objectives. 

 

Operations & Execution 

  • Serve as a trusted operational advisor to the principal, senior leadership, and staff. 
  • Align internal business functions with strategic priorities and evolving organizational needs. 
  • Manage and oversee a wide array of operations including asset oversight, administrative functions, compliance, and infrastructure management. 
  • Implement and monitor policies, systems, and procedures that enhance efficiency and support scalable growth. 
  • Lead and coordinate major projects, including property, construction, and contract management, ensuring they are completed on time, on budget, and in compliance with regulations. 
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts across departments with a focus on operational effectiveness and innovation. 

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Work closely with leaders across departments such as legal, risk management, finance, IT, HR, facilities, security, and more. 
  • Ensure that services, systems, and processes are optimized to support internal stakeholders and executive priorities. 
  • Provide oversight and coordination of various business support programs and external partnerships to ensure consistent quality and accountability. 

 

Business Services Oversight 

  • Oversee the Human Resources function, aligning talent strategy with business goals. 
  • Manage Information Technology initiatives, promoting digital transformation and operational efficiency. 
  • Analyze operations and recommend solutions that address challenges, improve service delivery, and increase value. 

Other Responsibilities 

  • Travel occasionally, including international travel as needed. 
  • Lead with sound judgment, discretion, and a deep respect for confidentiality and privacy. 
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the Principal. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. 
  • Experience in senior business operations or related field 
  • Strong leadership presence with proven experience managing high-level teams and initiatives. 
  • Prior experience in a family office or private client environment is a plus. 
  • Business-savvy with excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Adept at navigating complex dynamics with professionalism and discretion. 
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization. 
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver white-glove service in a high-expectation environment.
