An exclusive opportunity has arisen within a Guernsey-based pension business, including but not limited to ensuring that trust-based and contract-based pension schemes and annuities and client / adviser relationships are managed in accordance with the procedure manuals, relevant laws and guidelines.
Job Accountabilities:
- Provide proactive oversight of regulatory and legal matters impacting the Company and its clients.
- Assist with the implementation of new processes and procedures affecting the Client Relationship.
- Assist with Communication change and its implementation.
Skills Required:
- A high level of technical competence in relation to all Fiduciary matters including trusts, companies, pensions, limited partnerships etc.
- Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for own work, and all work delegated to an administration team, together with the ability to meet deadlines at all times.
- A solid understanding of the legislative landscape and a keen desire to monitor and respond to changes to laws, rules, regulation etc.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to impart knowledge to others, liaising with clients, clients’ advisors, professional intermediaries and all other potential sources of work.
Successful Candidate:
- Attainment of a relevant professional qualification – STEP/ICSA and/or a legal and/or compliance qualification will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience, 5 of which have been spent in a senior management role.
Compensation: £100k-£130k per annum (flexible dependant on experience) plus excellent benefits.
