We want to spend the last six weeks of the year, reflecting on the last 12 months of COVID-19 and uncover the stories of individuals and families within our network who helped along the way.

COVID-19 has been highlighted as one of several ‘words of the year’ by the Oxford English Dictionary which has expanded its annual list to reflect the unprecedented year of events.

It coincides with the announcement of yet another vaccine with Oxford University and AstraZeneca stating their vaccine has proven to be 70% effective which; although a decrease from both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines which both boast a 95% effectiveness rate, allows for easier transportation and large cost savings. It has already seen a pre-order of 100 million from the UK Government.

As we learn to live with the Coronavirus, become accustomed to social-distancing and adopt a new way of life entirely, we want to spend the last six weeks of the year reflecting on the 12 months of COVID-19 and we would love your help in making it happen.

Last week we reported that 209 billionaires had contributed $7.2BN to aid our global recovery of the Coronavirus Pandemic, led by the likes of Stefan Quandt at BMW and Azim Premji of Wipro.

But, while we hear of Captain Tom Moore and his fundraising in the run-up to his 100th birthday or the likes of James Dyson, Rolls Royce and Maclaren adapting production lines to meet the demand of ventilators – we are on a mission to end the year on a high and share the stories of every single person within our network who also played their part in the recovery of Covid-19 but didn’t make the headlines.

We want to celebrate 2020 for the collaboration and community it created so if you have a story to tell please do get in touch and help us shape a brighter 2021 for Family Offices across the world.

If you have a Coronavirus story about how you or someone you know shaped our global recovery and would like to contribute to our report, please email our Head of Communications at JacquelineG@agreusgroup.com and please do share the request with your network.

We really look forward to hearing from you.
