This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has supported UHNWIs in the past to be the Personal Assistant and Companion to a HNWI with various charitable interests.

A vital part of this role is the companionship element, supporting and sharing with the Principal in her varied social engagements, attending events and functions.

The successful candidate will be empathetic, emotionally intelligent and with a caring personality.

The successful candidate will have experience of supporting a HNWI in a Family Office environment, carrying out the usual PA responsibilities (managing the diary, creating the daily schedule, etc.) but also supporting the Principal personally, from personal shopping to arranging veterinarian appointments for the dog.

This will not be a 24/7 role but will require that support frequently goes beyond normal working hours and will likely be busier toward the end of the day. This should be seen as part of the role and the successful candidate will be happy to be on call in this way.

The Principal values propriety and the successful candidate will be comfortable with meeting and corresponding with VIPs and dignitaries.

Responsibilities will include but not be restricted to:

  • Diary management and full support, booking meetings, events and dinners etc.
  • Creating a daily/weekly schedule
  • Gatekeeping on behalf of the Principal
  • Travel and any accommodation arrangements
  • Office administration (e.g. ordering supplies etc.)
  • Maintaining updated and well-organized files and records
  • Financials, including household cash (spreadsheet entry)
  • Impeccable phone, email and face to face communication skills
  • Correspondence – used to composing letters which are properly constructed and grammatically correct.
  • Attend any meetings with the Principal as required (including doctors’ appointments) and take notes as necessary
  • Must have Family Office experience and be able to conduct work with the utmost discretion.

This is an exciting, rare though demanding opportunity for someone seeking a long-term position where, given time, they will become a trusted and essential part of the team, a confidante that the Principal can rely upon.

Remuneration will be commensurate with the duties and demands of the role.
