An UHNW Principal and her three-generational Family Office are seeking an ambitious, dedicated and experienced Chief of Staff to oversee the management of five US-based properties. This role is US-based but there is scope to take on an international role overseeing the family’s growing property portfolio in other parts of the world.

The key driver behind this newly created role is to oversee the management of the family’s growing estate and acting as a point of contact for all household staff.

This is an autonomous role offering the right candidate an incredibly exciting opportunity to lead the operations behind a Family Office with room to develop international opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Management. The successful candidate will report directly to the Principal which requires an excellent communicator who has experience in dealing directly with Leadership.
  • The Principal is seeking an experienced Chief of Staff who is accountable and able to solve problems and ask for help if and when required.
  • Estate Management of five properties, mostly within Connecticut, which include both rural and urban accommodation types.
  • Acting as a buffer between the Principal, her family and their household and operational staff.
  • Managing all household staff inclusive of Chefs, gardeners, horse groomers and adhoc service providers.
  • Making decisions on behalf of the family in regard to the Estate and keeping the family informed of everything that takes place within the Estate.
  • While no nanny duties are required, a duty of care for the Principals young family is expected. This may include the organisation of their safe travel for instance or organising a tutor for extra-curricular activities.
  • An ability to speak fluent Spanish is preferable.
  • Travel may be required on occasion to the family’s other properties in New York.
  • This is a live-in position but there is an offer for the ideal candidate to bring their partner.

Attractive Salary Dependent on Experience with free on-site accommodation.
