As we bid farewell to another remarkable year, Agreus is delighted to share the stories, challenges and milestones that have defined our journey in 2023.
After a bustling 2022, this year has been one of uncertainties. The global uncertainties arising from the conflict in Europe and the Middle East, coupled with inflation rearing its head for the first time in decades, have instilled a sense of caution in hiring that we have not witnessed for many years.
Despite these challenges, we strongly believe our achievements this year also demonstrate our commitment to excellence in the Family Office recruitment sector.
Making Careers Happen in Family Offices
Agreus has had the privilege of supporting 67 Family Offices this year, with some requiring multiple hires, for a variety of distinct roles, both at a junior and senior level. Interestingly, 33% of them are newly set up Family Offices.
While investment roles remain predominant in the positions we have worked on, there is a discernible demand for governance-driven roles in the Family Office space this year. Notably, we have recruited a number of Investment Advisors/Investment Committee members and Advisory board members, which is a substantial increase from previous years. Other roles include CEO/Head of Family Office, CIO, CFO, COO, Chief of Staff, Operations Managers, Financial Controllers, Accountants, Investment Analysts, Office Manager and EA/PA, to name a few.
This diversity of roles for our clients not only affirms our expertise but also highlights our success in navigating the intricacies of the Family Office sector. We will continue to connect Family Offices with the right professionals for their needs in the upcoming year.
Global Expansion
We have significantly expanded our global presence in 2023. The establishment of our Singapore office has not only solidified our foothold in the Asian market but also to the broader Australasia region. Given our 14-year history in the UK, our team there continues to serve the largest Family Office client base of the Agreus group. At the same time, our reach across North America has seen substantial growth. We believe the sheer demand and scale of Family Offices there positions us for exponential growth in the upcoming year.
Our management consulting business has also experienced an increased demand this year, with our team delivering comprehensive compensation consulting advice to Family Offices worldwide.
