Our client is a single family office with offices in London and the U.S. They invest globally, across multiple asset classes, using a combination of top-down global macro analysis and bottom-up fundamental research to identify and express high-conviction investment ideas. The investment portfolio spans asset classes from venture to large caps, but they are not afraid to take concentrated positions in high-conviction ideas. They express core investment themes through direct investments in liquid securities and commodities, as well as through selecting best-in-class managers where it makes sense to do so.
They invest with a horizon that stretches beyond that of the average quarterly-obsessed fund manager and having their roots in the pioneering of new technologies in natural gas exploration and production in the U.S. and across the globe, they have a global outlook with a core focus on innovation, both in the resources sector and more generally.
