A Single Family Office investing across a mix of asset classes (financial investments, commercial and residential real estate, forestry & land management, public and private equity), is looking to expand their team by recruiting a Finance Admin Assistant/Bookkeeper.

The role will be mainly based in the office in Marylebone but there is the opportunity to work one day a week from home, once up to speed with the duties.

Responsibilities will include but be restricted to:

  • Assisting the finance team
  • Bookkeeping / Data entry
  • Accounting software
    • Purchase invoice entering
    • Sales invoice entering
    • Credit card reconciliation
    • Petty cash reconciliation
  • General office admin (e.g. filing, office supplies)
  • Some general office management
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required

Skills

  • Entry level finance skills
  • Good IT skills – Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Some knowledge of QuickBooks is an advantage but not essential as this can be taught
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Responsible
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Team worker
  • Confidentiality

Remuneration will be commensurate with the duties and demands of the role and the experience of the successful candidate but in the range of £30/40k basic.
