A client facing sales role responsible for revenue generation through new client acquisition. Working closely with the Head of Commercial BD and the broader Corporate Commercial sales team to identify, develop and implement business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To drive new revenue growth across sectors in alignment with sector plans and in conjunction with UK sector leads, generating sales and opportunities from existing network of corporates and VC/PE backed Scale-up businesses
  • Achieve and exceed personal sales target
  • Developing a working knowledge of the company’s Corporate Service offerings
  • Attending industry events to develop leads
  • Manage opportunities through the sales cycle from inception to onboarding and Go-live
  • Maintain the Salesforce CRM system and update BD pipeline information in real time, including proposals, sales activity and call reports
  • Extensive networking, exploring all industry sectors for new client sourcing and building market share
  • To work with offices globally to provide introductions to wider sector teams as relevant and lead generate as widely as possible, where relevant

The Successful Candidate:

  • Minimum of 7 years Business Development experience in Corporate / MNCs VC/ PE backed scale-ups / Tech & Life Science sector
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, prospect, convert and deliver new revenue
