A multi-billion dollar Single Family Office in London is looking for a Senior Operations Manager to take care of the family’s private assets.

The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of various aspects of operation and management of private aircrafts, super yachts and property portfolios. This is an exciting and demanding role that requires an ambitious and driven professional who is both an excellent communicator, commercially-savvy and available for any eventualities.

This person will report to a senior member of the Family Office and will also have direct contact with the Family on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Private Aircraft Management;

  • The aircrafts will be managed by an aircraft operation company but you will need to coordinate with the company including crew members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the aircrafts.
  • Take instruction from the owners in scheduling and positioning of the aircrafts.
  • Ensure the aircrafts meet all the safety standards and are available for use at short notice.
  • Ensure adequate procedures and processes for preventive and routine maintenance of aircrafts. Oversee all the commercial aspects of the running and maintenance costs on monthly and annual basis.
  • You will also need to be engaged in chartering out the aircrafts in idle time to maximise the utilisation and minimising the operation costs.

Operational management of a private Super Yacht;

  • The yacht’s day to day operation will be handled by a specialist yacht management company but similarly to the Private Aircraft Management, you will need to coordinate with the company, the Captain and other crew members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the yacht.
  • Take instruction from the owners about positioning and use of the yacht from time to time.
  • Oversee all the commercial aspects of the running and maintenance costs on monthly and annual basis. You will also need to be engaged with shipping yard for repairs, refit as and when required.

Property Management;

  • You will be responsible for looking after an international property portfolio, predominantly based in the UK, including liaising with contractors and suppliers as well as the family on various requests.
  • You will need to have an understanding of luxury properties and confident in dealing with external providers and ensuring the properties are maintained to a high level.

The Operations Manager will be the go-to person for all the private assets the family own and be the point of contact for all external suppliers. You must be able to think on your feet, multitask as well as being highly organised and proactive. You must also be an excellent communicator and commercially savvy.

Salary: £80,000 – £100,000
