Finance and Project Assistant – Single Family Office

A London-based Family Office with varied interests which include Art and Film production and Property Development, is looking for a Finance and Project Assistant to directly help the Head of the UK Private Family Office.

With increasing growth and activity there is a need for direct support for the Head of the Family Office who oversees all the various projects the Principals are engaged upon.

The successful applicant will be numerically very strong as reviewing budget and expenditure, tracking costs and the ability to utilise and understand spreadsheets is very important. Mathematical qualifications ideally to A level as a minimum, would be a good indicator of aptitude in this area.

The successful candidate will have a clean driving licence and access to a car; there is an off-site element to this role that is important.

A strong communicator in both spoken and written English, language skills (particularly French) would be of added value.

You will be equally happy donning a hard hat as you would be looking at figures and going on-site to get updates on the progress of various projects, ranging from Real Estate to Film Production.

The successful candidate will be intellectually curious, hungry to get involved with and learn about new things and offer support wherever it is needed and wherever can make the greatest difference. This could be anything from Finance, Insurance, liaising with Architects, Planners and Lawyers.
They will be a problem solver looking at where they might get involved and lighten the workload of the Head of the Family Office.

Responsibilities likely to include:

  • Project management support across corporate and personal activities
  • Monitoring costs and expenditure across all projects and entities and development of new financial analysis
  • Development and maintenance of strong financial systems
  • Some Financial modelling
  • Engagement with professional advisers as required
  • General administrative support, including logistics, maintenance of excellent filing system and tracking of key tasks calendar

Salary: Expected to be in the range of £28,000 to £35,000 depending on experience.
